I’m a 22-year-old photographer based in Norman, Oklahoma, and photography has been a part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. Like many photographers, I started by taking pictures with my phone and slowly became completely obsessed with finding the beauty in the world around me. Since then, I’ve spent years behind the camera, learning, experimenting, and figuring out exactly what it is I love most about photography.

Today, I photograph everything from couples and engagements to families, maternity, portraits, events, and moreand I’m especially excited to continue growing into wedding photography.

I may be a little on the quieter side, but don’t worry, I always come prepared! Before a shoot, I like to make a plan so I can make sure we capture the photos you want while also leaving room for the unexpected moments that often end up becoming some of my favorites. Not everyone feels comfortable knowing exactly how to pose in front of a camera, and that’s completely okay. I’m happy to give as much direction as you need, while also using movement and prompts to help create photos that feel natural and like you.

My favorite images are often the ones you can’t completely plan.

The laugh that happens in between poses. The way someone looks at the person they love. A small interaction happening across the room that no one else noticed. I’m constantly looking around for those little moments, emotions, and connections because those are often the things that make a photograph feel like more than just a picture.

That’s one of the reasons I love weddings so much. They give me the opportunity to capture both, the beautifully planned moments and portraits you’ll want to look back on, as well as the candid emotions and interactions happening all around you.

More than anything, I want my photos to bring you back.

I want you to look at them years from now and remember not only what everything looked like, but how it felt. I want you to remember laughing during your photoshoot, how beautiful you felt, who was standing beside you, and all of the little things that might otherwise be forgotten.

Photography gives us a reason to slow down and notice the beauty around us, the beauty that can be so easy to overlook when life moves quickly.

My goal is to capture the beauty, emotion, and little moments in the world that are so easy to overlook, and preserve them in a way that lets you feel them all over again.

I’m currently pursuing a degree in Art, Technology, and Culture at the University of Oklahoma while continuing to grow my photography business, and my dream is to one day make photography my full-time career.
